Why is my dog tired all the time?

I really think since you haven't been walking him and have been ill he is just killing time the way a dog kills time, sleeping. On really cold days I do not walk my GSD and he is not outside either so he sleeps. If you are really concerned since you know your dog and I don't do what you think is best.
