Looking for a song like taproot?

ive been looking for a song for about 2 years!!, it sounds a bit like taproot, that kind of new metal sound, the first riff of the song is a 3 note ascending guitar riff, i have no clue on artist, title or lyrics, ive been searching music map for a while, for artists, any help will b of benefit, this song must have been around 2001-2004, and used to feature on kerrang/p-rock/scuzz music channels
