Okay so I think I just blew everything I would've had with my crush...?

I have been completely smitten by a man at my office. He is 13 years my senior (I am 19 and he is 32). but we have an amazing connection. Whenever we talk we can't help but flirt--and I know that I am not miss-reading any actions. We have had this flirty relationship for about three months now, and I finally decided that because of the age difference I should make the move. About an hour ago, as he was on his way out of the office, I asked him if he had a girlfriend. He said no, and then asked me if I had a boyfriend, After I said no there was an awkward silence...and he said "now I feel uncomfortable"... and he walked out. WHAT DAMAGE CONTROL CAN I DO????!! I still like him and want to go out with him, but I feel I just ruined it!! Help!!
