Is the world coming to an end?

I dont like to believe in the end of the world story's, and im not saying 2012 is going to be the end of the world, but what i am saying is in the bible it says when the end is near natural disasters and wars will break out. Now we have had the floods in Australia, the bloods in Brazil, the volcano eruption in Iceland. We have the protests/wars in Egypt. The cyclone going towards Australia. Haiti earth quake. china earthquake. and quite a few more over the last 6 mouths. come on, surely there has to be some connection.
