Does anyone know the pc game im looking for?

It was from 1997 through 1999 i think. It was a futuristic game, I think it was a different planet you lived on. You had your own appartment, you could go to the bar and an alien would serve you drinks, there was a spaceship you could go on to.You might have been a cop in it. It was a first person kinda game, you could call a futuristic type taxi to go different places. Any help would be appreciated.
