How do YOU feel about unique spelling of names?

I don't think it makes it unique at all, just misspelled. When someone says their name, whether it's spelled Sophia, Sofea, of Sophya, it all sounds the same, so how in the world is it more unique? I'd rather just have an unpopular name that's spelled correctly.
