SRS Surgery!!!?

Hello i have a question i want to transition from male to female and i was planning on having my SRS surgery with Dr Marci Bowers In Trinidad Colorado and then change my legal doents like name change but its really really almost impossible to get the money for the surgery so i was thinking of going to Thailand to go get the SRS surgery it is much more less expensive but i heard that if you get your surgery out side the USA i can't change my legal doents here is this true???
