Theoretical Physicist vs Doctor?

Eri is right, most professions in medicine make a lot more money than any other scientists, namely because we /need/ them the most. And although both are challenging careers, writing a thesis is a LOT of work. The people who go into fields like theoretical physics do it because it is something they are pionate about. If you really can't decide between the two, I'd say go with medicine.
