What did he mean by saying that? It made me rethink what he said....?

So a coworker of mine said that I would be a lot cuter if i had a flater tummy and didnt have a double chin sometimes. You know how you get it if your face is turned the wrong way.... So i txted my boyfriend about what she said and how she hurt my feelings and this is what he sent me back......Baby, I love just the way you are. I thinkyou are beautiful and there you are not compelled to loose any weight except your doctor says you should. You are gorgeous.Forget what the colleague said. It doesn't matter. Sweet I know but what did he mean about the doctor part? Doesnt that mean he thinks I'm chunky but thinks i'm good looking still??? I kind of took it as an insult. I'm 5'6 and 159 pounds by the way.
