Laparoscopic recovery time?

Hello. Last Wednesday, I had laparoscopic surgery for a dermoid. MD removed left ovary and also removed small cyst on right ovary. I am feeling better each day, but still quite sore. I am a RN, working 12 hour shifts. My job entails a lot of lifting, pushing and standing. I understand a lot of people return to work within 1 to 3 weeks post-operatively, however are these jobs more sedentary? For more strenuous jobs, what is the average recovery time? I am in no rush to return to work and want to take the maximum time to fully recover.
